We’ve opened registration now so you can scratch one thing off your to-do list before kicking off a fun summer.

We’re doing things a bit differently this coming year

There are some key changes in how Region 571 soccer will work this coming school year vs. past seasons:

1. School-year age divisions.  We’ve moved away from calendar year cutoffs for each age division and will be returning to age divisions that more closely align with the school year (August 1 - July 31). This makes it that much more likely that your child will be paired with players in the same grade level. Our age division chart on the next page spells out the differences in our age divisions.

2. Uniforms. Despite some struggles with shipments getting held up at customs last season, we remain very optimistic about our partnership with our uniform supplier, Signature Athletics. High quality reversible uniforms that are consistent across divisions gives our region maximum flexibility when it comes to players changing teams (or divisions) from season-to-season, and by sticking with the same 571-branded design for at least the next couple years, this means that your child may re-use their jersey from our Spring 2026 season and we can pass those $$$ savings on to you. When you need a new uniform, you will pay our uniform supplier directly.

3. Earlier registration. To avoid any delays with delivering uniforms and to help us plan our season more effectively, we will be accelerating some of our typical deadlines for registration. Our Early Bird pricing for the Fall 2026 season will remain in effect through Monday June 15^th. Standard registration will be open through Monday July 13^th. A new ‘late registration’ will be open through Monday August 3^rd, after which point all registrations will go straight to our waitlist, which does not guarantee placement on a team. Register early to guarantee a spot!

4. Updated pricing. Even though our costs continue to rise like so many other organizations, because we have de-coupled the cost of uniforms from what you pay to our region, your registration fees will be significantly lower for the upcoming school year. Plus, we have simplified pricing so your registration fees will be the same across all divisions.  If you need a new uniform for your player, you will order that directly from Signature with a link provided by us during registration. If you are registering late, we will have already purchased a uniform for your player, so your registration fee will be higher. The table on the next page details exact pricing.

5. Register for both Fall and Spring seasons in one transaction.  Back by popular demand! If you wish to register for both Fall and Spring seasons in the same transaction, you can do that now and save the hassle of remembering to register again in the Spring. It’s a small win, but this also means you won’t have to pay the site transaction fee ($3.50) more than once.

How does pricing work?  
Grab the early bird discount (save $15 – that’s 20% off and our best pricing of the year) if you register for Fall soccer by Monday June 15^th at midnight. Even more ways to save: take advantage of family discounts by registering two or more players. The 2^nd player gets an additional discount of $5 while any additional players get $10 off.

Note that during registration, each player will be assessed a once-per-schoolyear $25 fee by our National office to cover insurance, etc. This means that if a player plays Fall and Spring, the $25 fee is only paid in the Fall. When registering, there is a $3.50 transaction fee assessed on each order. Lastly, scholarships are available for families in need of financial assistance – please let us know if you would like to learn more about scholarships.

Division Assignments & Player Pathway for Fall 2026/Spring 2027 seasons

To add to the Player Pathway above, our program also works closely with AYSO United of Michigan to offer "club-level" soccer to families looking to stay within the AYSO family.  Tryouts are usually the 2nd or 3rd week of June.  Visit our AYSO United page for more details.

When does the season begin?

Fall practices will begin after Labor Day. Spring practices begin after Spring Break. Our first games of the Fall season will be on 9/12. Pending school calendars, we will play a 7-week season in the Fall and a 6-week season in the Spring. Last game in the Fall will be on 10/31. Note: game schedules will be published at least a week in advance of the first game.

UK Summer Soccer Camp 2026
June 22-26 and July 20-24

UK International Soccer brings a soccer experience from "across the pond" and more, with coaches recruited from the United Kingdom, Europe and South America! And while the focus is on developing soccer skills, the emphasis is on fun and positivity. Here's an example of what our Full Day Camp has in store for your kiddo: 

Each day at camp is packed with fun, learning, and plenty of time on the ball! Players will begin the day with warm-ups and fun activities before moving into skill-focused sessions led by our experienced UK International Soccer coaches. Throughout the week we will focus on key soccer topics such as passing, turning, dribbling, defending, and scoring goals, helping players build confidence and improve their game in an encouraging environment.

Campers will also take part in small-sided games and daily World Cup tournaments, where players compete with their teammates and represent countries from around the world. With the FIFA World Cup taking place here in the USA, we will also include fun world geography activities to help players learn about the countries they’re representing.

As always, our camps deliver an age-appropriate curriculum designed not only to develop soccer skills but also to encourage teamwork, respect, communication, and positive social interaction between participants.

Whether your player is new to the game, looking to improve their skills, or simply wanting to spend a week having fun with friends, our coaches will make sure every camper has a positive and memorable experience.

Winter Soccer



Our region typically sponsors several indoor soccer teams during the winter season. Games are played at MSA Sports Spot. These are not AYSO games and the rules are a little different. It’s definitely fast-paced and fun! From a skill perspective, it’s really helpful for kids looking to improve ball handling and control.

If this sounds like something your child would be interested in, around the end of the Fall season, ask your coach if they are coaching an indoor team or if they know of another coach in your division that is planning on coaching a team. There are typically several game “sessions” that run throughout November, December, January, February and March. Read more about it here.
